Congratulations to all the winners and finalists on what was two great days of junior rugby league. The games were a fantastic advert to anyone who watched them and played in the true spirit of junior rugby. Although some of the scores seem one sided this could not be further from the truth as both teams in each game gave their all and never stopped trying and the weekend finished with a fantastic game of rugby league when at U15s Hunslet Warriors overcame a strong Featherstone Lions to win the Cup which had all the spectators hearts in their mouths right up to the final whistle what a great advertisement to end with. To all the teams coaching staff who conducted themselves very proffessionally in the technical areas. A big thank you to the spectators who behaved impeccably on both days cheering the teams right up to the final whistle. To the match officialls who were in attendance on both days from 9.30 to 4.30pm a massive thank you, they will never win whatever the result but from the League the 10 Officials who attended both days you did a fantastic job for us and we thank you for taking the time out to officiate for us.

A big thank you to Featherstone Rovers for allowing us the use of their ground and facilities and may they be used for many years to come as it is a fantastic venue for our finals days. And finally to our Management Members, Colin Handforth, Charlie Bray, John Peat, Michelle Huntington and Elizabeth Whittaker who were on duty for the full two days helping make the days run as smoothly as they did.
